Job summary

Obsolete Site is seeking an Engineering Equipment Operator at Fort Drum, NY. You will operate pay loaders, tractors, graders, and rollers to maintain roads, grounds, drainage, and signage, among other tasks, and determine the best equipment and attachments for each job.

Responsibilities include operating snow removal gear in all weather and performing minor repairs on vehicles and equipment, such as tire changes and wiper replacements, while ensuring safety and efficiency in a military post

Qualifications

Experience operating engineering equipment including dump trucks, loaders, graders and other heavy machinery.
Ability to select appropriate attachments and equipment to complete assigned tasks.
Must be able to operate snow removal equipment in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

Operate a variety of engineering equipment to perform excavation, grading, leveling, tamping, and piling.
Determine appropriate equipment and attachments to complete assigned tasks.
Operate bulldozers and loaders for clearing, piling, and material spreading.
Work in all weather conditions, using snow removal equipment for parking lots and roads.
Make minor repairs and maintenance on equipment and vehicles, including tires and windshields.
