NYS Office of General Services in New York seeks a Grounds Maintenance Worker to assist in operation and maintenance of grounds equipment including mowers, street sweepers, loaders, and aerial lifts. You will perform manual labor and help transport trash from facilities to the transfer station.

Valid NY CDL Class A or B, ability to operate a forklift (OSHA certification after appointment), and the ability to work at heights are required.

Competenze

• One year of experience operating equipment appropriate for the class.
• Valid New York State driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle operated.

Mansioni

• Operate mowers, street sweepers, loaders, salt spreaders, dump trucks, backhoes, and aerial lift trucks.
• Perform manual labor to complete grounds maintenance tasks.
• Manually load trash into a garbage hauler and transport the trash to the transfer station.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
