Job summary

Enerflex Ltd. is seeking a Manager, Engineering Enablement Systems in Houston to lead CAD technologies, design standards, and data governance.

You will partner across Engineering, Design, Product Development, Manufacturing, Projects, Procurement, Quality, and IT to improve CAD-to-EDM workflows and material data accuracy. This role oversees CAD tool development, system integration, documentation, and training materials, driving automation and standardized processes to align with Enerflex

Qualifications

• Technical degree or diploma in Engineering, Design, Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of Engineering and Design experience in a Manufacturing environment.
• 5+ years of direct supervisory or lead experience on technical personnel or programs.
• 5+ years of experience using, implementing, configuring, testing, or administering CAD systems.
• Technical competency in piping, pressure vessel, and structural design concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead administration and governance of CAD and integrated engineering design applications.
• Develop roadmaps and implementation plans for CAD technologies and engineering tools.
• Manage software configuration, templates, libraries, and standardized design environments.
• Lead evaluation, testing, deployment, and adoption of new CAD technologies and design software solutions.
• Coordinate CAD upgrades, integrations, and enhancement projects.
• Ensure stability, performance, and supportability of engineering applications integrated with CAD technologies.
• Oversee CAD support documentation, user guides, and training materials.
• Identify opportunities for automation and productivity improvements within workflows.
• Maintain engineering classification data and material master data across systems.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration between Engineering, Design, Procurement, and Manufacturing.
