Job summary

Justworks is seeking an Engineering Effectiveness Manager to lead cross-functional program delivery across engineering initiatives in New York. You will design learning programs, coordinate forums, and drive improvements that enable scale and faster delivery.

You will work with recruiting and people teams to support engineering talent initiatives, while maintaining clear communication and strong collaboration across distributed teams.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of experience in program management, delivery, operations, or a similar role in a technical environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and drive execution in matrix environments.
• Experience designing and implementing learning and development programs or similar enablement efforts.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-engineering program delivery: own execution of major initiatives, manage timelines and blockers.
• Design and operationalize learning and enablement programs for skill development and onboarding.
• Coordinate engineering-wide forums and rituals to improve visibility and decision making.
• Drive process improvements to reduce friction and strengthen consistency.
• Build dashboards and metrics to provide clear visibility for leadership.
• Partner with recruiting on engineering talent initiatives and onboarding.
• Support PDLC development phase with platform-specific enablement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
