Toyota Material Handling North America in Greene, New York, seeks an Engineering Documentation Specialist to create, test, and validate documentation that supports software releases, engineering changes, testing, and product development.

You will work across engineering, change control, and marketing to ensure documentation stays accurate and moves through established processes in an hands-on engineering environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of related experience.
• Practical understanding of engineering principles and documentation practices.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy.
• Effective interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Strong time management and cross-department collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams to prepare and process engineering change requests.
• Collaborate with engineering, change control, and marketing to move changes through processes.
• Read and interpret engineering prints, technical documentation, and related materials.
• Create clear standard work instructions and supporting documentation.
• Troubleshoot using technical documentation and ensure timely completion.
• Collect data through hands-on work and assist with assessment and evaluation.
• Evaluate development software, testing processes, and procedures.
• Work in an engineering lab to assess product development.
• Occasionally use hand tools to build or modify equipment.

The Role:

We’re seeking an Engineering Documentation Specialist to join our team. In this hands-on role, you’ll create, test, and validate documentation that supports software releases, engineering changes, testing, and product development. You’ll work across engineering, change control, and marketing to keep documentation accurate and moving through established processes. If you enjoy combining detailed technical work with hands-on problem-solving in an engineering environment, this role offers the opportunity to contribute throughout the development process.

What You’ll Be Doing:

What Your Total Compensation & Benefits Package will look like:

Wage - $27.52 - $35.29 per hour. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.

Relocation: This role may be eligible for relocation assistance.
