Job summary

Creative Solutions Services, LLC in Midland, TX seeks a Technician to coordinate development engineering drawings for existing facilities, ensuring deliverables meet project needs and schedules. Responsibilities include validating field data, coordinating with a remote team of drafters, and building a plan (Gantt) to align priorities and timelines for P&IDs, C&Es, electrical diagrams, and related diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development drawings for existing facilities (P&IDs, C&Es, electrical & wiring diagrams, loop diagrams).
• Perform field visits in Midland to validate equipment and deliverables.
• Interface with Information Management to store deliverables in ACONEX repository.
• Collaborate with the Foundations project to align scope and track gaps.

Job Description & Skill Requirement:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordinate development of as-built or as-is engineering drawings and deliverables for existing facilities (e.g., Pipeline Risers, Pump Stations, Ponds, Mobile Clean Brine Facilities, etc.) without proper documentation to support MOCs and other engineering tasks:
  • P&IDs
  • C&Es
  • Electrical One-Line Diagrams
  • Wiring Diagrams
  • Loop Diagrams
  • Plot Plan / Hazardous Area Classification
  • Process Control Narratives
• Field Visits – Located in Midland. Validate existing equipment in the field to ensure accuracy of newly developed engineering deliverables, including coordination with the internal ExxonMobil drone team in some instances.
• Build a plan (Gantt Chart) to align the team on the timeline and priority of deliverable development.
• Create a method to visualize/track facilities with engineering deliverable gaps; interface with the Uncon “Foundations” project to align scope.
• Interface with the Information Management team to ensure newly created deliverables are properly stored in the ACONEX document repository.

Skills Needed:

• Strong coordination skills.
• Is not expected to create/draft deliverables alone; this person will coordinate work with a team of Client drafters located remotely.
