Harmar Mobility seeks a Director of Engineering to lead its design engineering organization, driving new product development and sustaining engineering in a manufacturing environment. This leader translates customer needs and business strategy into a focused product portfolio while ensuring priorities, resources, schedules, risks, and deliverables are actively managed daily.

Qualificações

• Hands-on NPD leadership through full development lifecycle—from concept to launch and post-launch support.
• At least 10 years of progressive engineering experience, including 7+ years leading NPD and sustaining teams.

Responsabilidades

• Own the NPD portfolio from concept through commercial launch, establishing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and quality objectives.
• Run engineering day-to-day with operating cadence for priorities, reviews, resource allocation, risk management, and metrics.
• Maintain technical and execution rigor in designs, specs, drawings, BOMs, test plans, and design reviews.
• Design for manufacturability by partnering with Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Product Management.
• Lead sustaining engineering and lifecycle support, cost reduction, and value engineering.
• Build a high-performing, accountable engineering team with clear objectives and development plans.
• Shape the product roadmap by translating customer insight and technology into a focused development plan.
• Communicate portfolio status, tradeoffs, risks, and results to executives and cross-functional stakeholders.
