Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. in Pontiac, IL, seeks an Engineering Director to lead manufacturing engineering, technical services, and facilities engineering across machining, heat treat, assembly, and supporting infrastructure.

You will build technical capability, raise equipment reliability, and drive continuous improvement using lean methods and data-driven problem solving. You will manage the engineering staff, own capital deployment, and set standards for manufacturing and infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering is required.
• Experience with capital projects is preferred.
• Proven leadership of teams and cross-functional groups.
