The role drives continuous improvement via lean methods, builds technical capability, and sets standards while coordinating capital deployment, new process introductions, and facility readiness for long-term competitiveness.

Qualifications

• Expert knowledge of planning techniques across short term, tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years).
• Expert decision-making tools; ability to analyze and decide based on informed judgment.
• Expert technical knowledge and ability to develop solutions for technical challenges.
• Strong communication skills to influence others and convey information effectively.
• Deep understanding of customer/market priorities and how to add value.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering staff and activities toward organizational goals and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and improve product and process performance, quality, and cost-effectiveness across engineering activities.
• Provide leadership to design, develop and manufacture components, systems, and technologies.
• Resolve engineering product and manufacturing process or quality issues from concept through end of life-cycle.
