Job summary

Rick Engineering Company is seeking an Associate Engineering Designer to join the Tucson, AZ team. In this role you will contribute to multi-disciplinary land development projects, transforming concepts into final construction-ready plans.

Qualified candidates typically hold a BSCE and have 2 years of experience (or 6 years equivalent) in land development/public works, with strong CADD skills and knowledge of local codes. Medical benefits and company programs support growth.

Qualifications

• BSCE preferred with two years’ experience or six years in land development/public works.
• Experience taking plans from conceptual design to final plans, including plats and subdivision/land development.
• Knowledge of Tucson-area jurisdictional codes and procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take plans from conceptual design to final plans for land development projects (roadway, utility, drainage).
• Prepare and process plats and plans for subdivision and land development.
• Perform grading and earthwork calculations and assess site constraints.
