RICK Engineering Company is seeking an Associate Project Engineer/Manager for our Tucson, AZ office. The role guides multi-disciplinary teams on landmark land development projects, offering mentorship and growth opportunities while delivering client-focused engineering solutions.

The position emphasizes collaboration, constructability reviews, and strong relationships with clients and public agencies, with a focus on meeting schedules and budgets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BSCE degree required and AZ Professional Engineer licensure or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Minimum 6 years land development experience or 10–12 years total work experience
• Experience supervising engineering design and staff, including mentoring and QA/QC
• Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and client/public-agency interactions

Responsibilities

• Supervise engineering design and support staff, including delegation and mentoring
• Manage project schedules and budgets
• Assist with contracts, fee proposals, and scopes of work
• Interact with clients and public agencies to ensure project alignment and satisfaction
