General Motors is seeking a Design Lead Technical to provide engineering leadership for Instrument Panel and Floor Console design work. The role focuses on driving math-based design solutions and virtual vehicle integration to meet system requirements, enabling successful integration across the Global Vehicle Development Process.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced proficiency in NX CAD modeling and virtual vehicle integration.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, packaging, manufacturing, and design release.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical direction and daily guidance to Designers within Instrument Panel and Floor Console areas.
• Lead design reviews, virtual reviews, and cross-functional PDT meetings to drive program milestones.
• Develop and validate virtual integration solutions meeting quality, timing, cost, and manufacturability goals.
• Collaborate with CAE teams and ensure data accuracy in math models and part specs.
• Mentor team members and promote best-practice updates, training, and continuous improvement.
