Gibraltar Building Products is seeking an Engineering Design Intern to support our product development team by creating and maintaining part drawings and 3D models in SolidWorks. You will develop technical drawings, update design documentation, and contribute to design changes and product improvements in a fast‑paced environment.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling and technical drawing creation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate work.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
• Previous coursework or project experience in product design or manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Engineering Design Intern to support our product development team by creating and maintaining part drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks. Responsibilities include developing accurate technical drawings, updating design documentation, and collaborating with engineering team members to support new product and product improvement initiatives.

This position will be onsite base inNorcross, GA orDallas, TX.

This part-time position (15–20 hours per week) is ideal for college students pursuing a degree in Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field who want hands‑on experience in a manufacturing and product development environment.

Key Responsibilities:
