Job summary

CVS Health seeks a Senior Manager – Software Development Engineering to guide cross‑functional teams building enterprise experiences in the Plan Sponsor domain. You will set timelines, mentor engineers, and drive high‑quality delivery while exploring AI-enabled modernization and new product initiatives.

You will partner with product managers and stakeholders to align priorities, manage risks, and ensure seamless execution across multiple scrum teams in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years IT experience in a matrixed environment.
• 5+ years managing various technologies incl. Java/Springboot.
• 3+ years leading projects and direct reports.
• Experience with API development and microservices.

Responsibilities

• Oversee risk assessment and resolve delivery/production issues.
• Lead a subdomain of 2-3 scrum teams and track delivery dates.
• Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to align priorities.
• Guide technical direction and modernize roadmaps for Plan Sponsor domain.
• Drive AI-enabled transformations and governance of best practices.
