Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking an Engineering Clerk in Saugerties, NY to review blueprints and engineering data, and to maintain master parts listings and documentation for material requisition and production planning.

The role involves updating ERP with part numbers, managing ECO processes, and supporting design-to-manufacturing transitions, with opportunities for professional growth and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent experience or combination of education and experience.
• At least two years’ experience as an administrator or clerk in a technical/manufacturing environment.
• Previous drafting/design or related work experience.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.
• Ability to read and understand layouts, drawings, and designs.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints, change orders, and engineering data for master parts listings and catalogs.
• Update ERP with new part numbers, BOMs, and information to move design into manufacturing.
• Maintain data system integrity including change orders and non-conformance tracking.
• Create print packages for production meeting standards.
• Oversee Engineering Changes through the ECO process.
• Assist engineering activities such as design, test, modification, and assembly of prototype equipment.
• Work independently with moderate supervision.
