Astec is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to support Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, and Production teams. You will generate and maintain engineering items, BOMs, routings, and related drawings in JDE, ensuring accurate data flow across departments.

Qualifications

• High school degree or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret drawing and blueprints.
• Knowledge of computers, primarily Word and Excel required.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, and ability to use these skills effectively throughout the organization and with all levels of employees required.
• Must be able to work on data entry unassisted.
• Ability to effectively work as a member of a team required.

Responsibilities

• Generate and assign new engineering items, and process new items through JDE.
• Generate and maintain BOMs and Routings in JDE with engineering support.
• Update and maintain item notes and drawing links in JDE.
• Print WOs and attach drawings for subsequent release with planning support.
• Transfer component allocations between WOs with planning support.
• Obtain and develop equipment manuals/data for engineered products, and distribute them to internal and external customers.
