Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to join our dynamic team. You will perform service and repairs on hotel equipment, while handling administrative tasks to ensure guest comfort and property reliability.

Key responsibilities include coordinating preventative maintenance, monitoring HVAC and building systems, ordering supplies, managing inventory, and supporting energy conservation efforts.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• 3 months to 1 year employment in related position.
• Working knowledge of general building maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and follow up with engineers on scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks.
• Possess basic knowledge of HVAC systems and assist with routine maintenance as needed.
• Monitor building temperatures via the BMS and perform temperature checks.
• Manage and follow up on equipment repairs, including motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and related systems.
• Assist in ordering supplies via BirchStreet and ensure timely updating of invoices.
• Monitor par stock levels and oversee the distribution of inventory items.
• Respond promptly to guest service calls regarding maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in all Engineering areas and support an organized department and hotel environment.
• React effectively to emergency situations, including fires and power outages.
• Support installation or relocation of equipment and energy conservation programs.

About the Role

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking candidates to join our dynamic Engineering team as Engineering Coordinator. The Engineering Coordinator performs service and repairs on hotel equipment while also handling administrative tasks as required, and responds to inquiries and problems in an efficient, courteous and professional manner to achieve maximum customer satisfaction while complying with all Four Seasons’ policies.

What you will do

• Coordinate and follow up with engineers on scheduled Preventative Maintenance tasks.
• Possess basic knowledge of HVAC systems and assist with routine maintenance as needed.
• Monitor building temperatures via the BMS (Building Management System) and perform physical temperature checks throughout the facility.
• Manage and follow up on equipment repairs, including motors, starters, breakers, chillers, and related systems throughout the building.
• Assist in ordering supplies via BirchStreet and ensure timely updating of invoices.
• Monitor par stock levels and oversee the distribution of inventory items.
• Respond promptly to guest service calls regarding maintenance issues in guest rooms and public areas.
• Maintain cleanliness in all Engineering areas, including grease traps and plumbing systems, and support an organized department and hotel environment.
• React effectively to all emergency situations, including fires and power outages.
• Support the installation or relocation of any additional equipment or existing equipment when necessary.
• Assist with energy conservation programs in the hotel.
• Support the installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations, outlet additions and associated equipment and of electrical set ups for exhibits including maintenance of those set-ups.

What you bring

• High School education or equivalent required
• 3 months to 1 year employment in a related position within Four Seasons or other organizations
• Working Technical Knowledge of general building maintenance is required.

Schedule and Hours

• This is a full-time position. Candidates must be able to work mornings, days, nights, evenings, weekends and holidays.
