Job summary

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is seeking an Assistant Director of Housekeeping to lead a dedicated team in delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.

You will coach, develop, and manage staff, oversee scheduling, budgets, and inventory while upholding Four Seasons standards across guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas. A background in luxury hospitality and strong English communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher degree not required; secondary education or equivalent experience accepted.
• Experience leading a team in luxury hospitality is preferred.
• Strong English communication is essential.
• Knowledge of building maintenance and operating computer equipment is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Lead, develop, and support the Housekeeping team through staffing, training, scheduling, coaching, and daily oversight.
• Ensure top standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction across rooms, spaces, and employee areas; conduct inspections and respond to guest needs.
• Drive departmental efficiency and financial performance by managing labor, payroll, and inventory processes.

About The Role:

Four Seasons Hotel and Residences New Orleans is looking for candidates to join our Housekeeping team as an Assistant Director of Housekeeping. As a Housekeeping leader, you will inspire and support a team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences. You will ensure the highest standards of comfort, cleanliness, and safety for all guests while coaching, motivating, and developing team members to maximize departmental efficiency, productivity, and service quality in alignment with Four Seasons standards.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead, develop, and support the Housekeeping team through hiring, training, scheduling, coaching, performance management, and daily shift oversight to ensure exceptional service and operational excellence.

• Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction across guest rooms, public spaces, and employee areas by conducting inspections, responding to guest needs, and maintaining Four Seasons standards.

• Drive departmental efficiency and financial performance by managing labor and operating expenses, overseeing payroll and inventory processes, maintaining equipment, and supporting budget and capital planning initiatives.

What You Bring:

• Fluent in English, reading and writing

• Secondary education or equivalent experience

• 2 years of management experience in a luxury hotel.

• Requires a working technical knowledge ofgeneral building maintenance

• Requires knowledge of the ability to operatecomputer equipment
