Job summary

Aequor Information Technologies Pvt. Ltd. in Portsmouth, NH seeks a mid-level Manager, Construction Engineering to lead on-site construction activities for multiple pharmaceutical projects. You will monitor contractors, enforce PPE and safety, and coordinate outages with stakeholders.

The role requires reading blueprints and P&IDs, redlining design docs, and coordinating with CADD and QA for change controls to ensure GMP-compliant construction. Prior pharma facility experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in Pharmaceutical Engineering Projects and Industrial Construction Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Change Controls and GMP manufacturing practices.
• Familiar with utilities (Clean and Black) and internal Safety Permitting processes.
• Ability to read blueprints/site design documents and redline design docs with as-built results.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule construction activities and communicate outages.
• Redline drawings for as-building and work with CADD to update drawings and assemble TOP package docs.
• Ensure work proceeds on schedule and meets drawings and project specifications at high quality.
• Work with Quality to draft change controls and gain stakeholder alignment.
• Gather pricing and assist with scoping upcoming projects.

Job description

Job Title:- Manager, Construction Engineering

Location:- Portsmouth, NH

Duration:- 1 year with possible ext.

This is not an expert level Construction manager role. They are looking for 1 or 2 mid level Construction Managers with 5-7 years of experience in Construction Management or Construction Project Administration and looking to break into Construction Management. Must be familiar with utilities (Clean and Black), the internal Safety Permitting process, understand blueprints/site design documents, and be able to walkdown P&IDs to redline design docs with the as built results. There will be extensive walking of the site to oversee construction tasks. Candidates without Pharmaceutical experience may be considered, but must have experience in construction of manufacturing facilities, preferably either for an FDA regulated environment, or process manufacturing industry. Responsibilities Include

Daily on-site Construction Management for multiple projects – monitor construction contractors for (each project) daily, monitoring for PPE and safety compliance, assisting with issuing safety permits and handling day to day construction questions. Escalating concerns and discussing with manager or other stakeholders as required.

Working with stakeholders to schedule construction related activities and communicate outages to affected parties.

Redline drawings for as-building and work with CADD group to get drawings updated, request new drawings etc. Work with CADD group to assemble TOP package docs.

Ensure construction work is proceeding on schedule and work is being performed in a high quality manner according to the drawings and project specifications.

Change controls working with Quality group to draft change controls and gain stakeholder alignment.

Gather pricing and assist with scoping upcoming projects.

Work with vendors to specify and gather budgetary pricing for new equipment as needed.

Setup spare parts and maint plans in SAP

Qualifications

Min 5-7 years working in Pharmaceutical Engineering Projects and Industrial Construction Management.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Extensive knowledge of Change Controls and GMP manufacturing practices
