Job summary

Unicon Pharma Inc is seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site pharmaceutical engineering projects in Portsmouth, NH. You will monitor contractors, ensure PPE and safety compliance, review drawings, and coordinate with the CADD group to maintain up-to-date TOP package documentation.

The role requires 5–7 years in pharmaceutical engineering and industrial construction management, strong communication, and deep knowledge of change controls and GMP practices.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years in Pharmaceutical Engineering Projects and Industrial Construction Management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of Change Controls and GMP manufacturing practices.

Responsibilities

• Daily on-site construction management for multiple projects, monitoring PPE and safety compliance.
• Escalating concerns to manager or stakeholders as required.
• Coordinate scheduling of construction-related activities and communicate outages to affected parties.
• Redline drawings for as-building and coordinate with CADD group to update drawings and TOP package docs.
• Ensure construction work proceeds on schedule and meets drawings and project specs.
• Draft change controls with Quality Group and gain stakeholder alignment.
• Gather pricing and assist with scoping upcoming projects.
• Work with vendors to specify and gather budgetary pricing for equipment.
• Setup spare parts and main plans in SAP.

Job description

• Daily on-site Construction Management for multiple projects – monitor construction contractors for (each project) daily, monitoring for PPE and safety compliance, assisting with issuing safety permits and handling day to day construction questions.
• Escalating concerns and discussing with manager or other stakeholders as required.
• Working with stakeholders to schedule construction-related activities and communicate outages to affected parties.
• Redline drawings for as-building and work with CADD group to get drawings updated, request new drawings etc. Work with CADD group to assemble TOP package docs.
• Ensure construction work is proceeding on schedule and work is being performed in a high-quality manner according to the drawings and project specifications.
• Change controls working with Quality Group to draft change controls and gain stakeholder alignment.
• Gather pricing and assist with scoping upcoming projects.
• Work with vendors to specify and gather budgetary pricing for new equipment as needed.
• Setup spare parts and main plans in SAP
