Job summary

Hydrite Chemical Co. is seeking an Engineering Co-Op to join our growing team in Wisconsin. The role focuses on gaining practical work experience on engineering projects while upholding the Hydrite Standards of Excellence and customer satisfaction.

The position runs from June to December 2027 with responsibilities spanning technical analysis, capital projects support, system documentation, and efficiency improvements. Strong engineering fundamentals and leadership potential are valued.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in accredited university pursuing a BS in Engineering (mechanical/industrial/chemical preferred).
• Strong computer skills with Word and Excel.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical analysis for projects as assigned.
• Assist in implementation of capital projects and maintenance activities.
• Assist with network and system diagrams, code analysis, system performance monitoring, and documentation.
• Investigate process improvements for cost savings such as waste reduction, cycle-time reduction, lower cost raw material qualification, scale-up, and shelf-life improvements.
• Investigate process-related cycle time improvements such as batch process time reduction, continuous process throughput increase, pre/post-batch cleanout time reduction, and quality improvements.
