LVI Associates is seeking a Project Manager for custom glazing and curtain wall projects in Cincinnati, Ohio. You will oversee schedules, budgets, procurement, client relationships, and coordination between engineering, fabrication, and field teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience with unitized curtain wall, stick-built systems, storefront, and building envelope projects. Strong communication and financial management skills are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of PM experience in commercial glazing, curtain wall, or building envelope.
• Experience managing custom glazing projects preferred.
• Ability to read architectural/structural drawings.
• Proficiency with MS Office and construction project management software.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple glazing and facade projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, manpower forecasts, and procurement plans.
• Coordinate with engineering, drafting, fabrication, and installation teams; manage RFIs and submittals.

Position Summary

The Project Manager will oversee commercial glazing and curtain wall projects from award through closeout. This individual will be responsible for managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, client relationships, and coordination between engineering, fabrication, and field installation teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience managing custom glazing, unitized curtain wall, stick-built curtain wall, storefront, and specialty facade projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Management

• Manage multiple glazing and facade projects simultaneously from preconstruction through completion.


• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, manpower forecasts, and procurement plans.


• Track project financial performance, change orders, and overall profitability.


• Ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

Client & Team Coordination

• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, architects, and consultants.


• Lead project meetings and provide regular status updates.


• Coordinate with engineering, drafting, fabrication, and installation teams.


• Manage RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, and project documentation.

Technical Oversight

• Review architectural drawings, specifications, contracts, and glazing details.


• Support engineering reviews of custom curtain wall and glazing systems.


• Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and building codes.


• Coordinate design changes and resolve technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle.

Procurement & Operations

• Manage material procurement and vendor relationships.


• Coordinate material releases and fabrication schedules.


• Monitor long-lead materials and identify potential schedule impacts.


• Support field operations by ensuring crews have the information and resources needed for successful installation.

Financial & Risk Management

• Manage project budgets and forecasting.


• Negotiate and process change orders.


• Identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.


• Maintain accurate cost tracking and reporting throughout project execution.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Project Management experience within commercial glazing, curtain wall, facade, or building envelope construction.


• Experience managing custom glazing projects preferred.
