Job summary

You will communicate business issues to management, ensure health and safety compliance, support project planning, and contribute to process improvements while navigating cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Lean/Six Sigma knowledge preferred.
• Demonstrates some understanding of common engineering analysis tools such as statistical process control.
• Demonstrates awareness of upstream stakeholders including Quality Engineering and New Product Introduction teams.
• Commutable knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Understanding of equipment effectiveness and manufacturing & maintenance concepts (OEE, SOL, etc.).
• Understanding of cost management and its importance for customers and consumers.
• Ability to communicate process improvement projects clearly in oral and written form.
• Shows organized, analytical approach to problem solving.
• Demonstrates developed verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Communicate business-related issues or opportunities to next management level.
• Follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Provide technical support for project planning, development, implementation, and modification; contribute to engineering standards development.
• Exercise independent judgment on details of work.
• Handle assignments with complex objectives and multiple variables.
• Tackle work with highly complex features and no precedents.
• Contribute to equipment design, material testing, specifications, process studies, and reporting.
