Job summary

Lam Research, a leading supplier in the semiconductor equipment industry, is seeking an experienced ECN professional in California to drive and manage engineering change implementations. You will coordinate across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure timely ECN closure and KPI attainment.

The role requires strong analytical ability, BOM knowledge, and proficiency with Excel/Access/Word, SAP, and Six Sigma methodologies.

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience.
Experience and Expert level knowledge in Engineering Change Mgmt. Process.
Experience in Cost Analysis on change orders wrt BoM Changes.
Good understanding of BoM (Bill of Material) structure including Config BOM.
Experience in MS Excel, MS Access & MS Word.
Skills to Influence and drive decisions across cross functional groups.
Detail oriented with strong analytical skills and ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

Drive execution of approved ECN Implementation plans through timely completion of tasks.
Analyze inventory, demand, open POs, and material availability to support implementation.
Conduct inventory disposition and reassessment to identify excess or obsolete inventory.
Establish, update, and manage ECN Effectivity Dates.
Ensure correct demand for ECNs by executing OBOM changes.
Identify risks and drive corrective actions to resolution.
Coordinate with internal and external teams to ensure task completion.
Monitor progress and escalate overdue tasks or risks that could impact timelines.
Maintain accountability for implementation quality, SLA adherence, and KPIs.
Document assessments, decisions, risks, and mitigation plans for traceability.
