Job summary

Linamar Corporation is seeking an Engineering Coordinator to translate product design sketches into CAD drawings and support production readiness. You will produce complete drawings, review engineering documentation, and work with multiple departments to optimize output, reduce costs, and ensure tooling and process documentation are ready for production runs.

The role requires knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks, GD&T, and experience in a machining or manufacturing environment, with an emphasis

Qualifications

• A university degree or diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering or equivalent expertise gained through professional experience, training, or certifications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out drafting assignments of routine to moderately complex nature.
• Digitize design sketches into CAD working documents for production use.
• Produce and review drawings, support documentation, and standards.
• Collaborate with departments to improve production output and tooling.
• Maintain revision control of engineering documents and ECRs.
• Assist in process flow diagrams and control plans.
• Support APQP activities and customer focus meetings.
