Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or Mechatronics program at an accredited university/college or equivalent experience.
• Familiar with 3D CAD tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks is preferred.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Create, update and implement engineering documents, including ECRs, drawings, data sheets, and work instructions.
• Prepare and log engineering drawings with process specs and tooling drawings.
• Maintain master files and ensure documents are current.
• Support Program Managers/Project Engineers with process documentation tasks.
• Create detailed engineering drawings with necessary specifications.
• Update plant layouts as required.
• Set up and operate conventional, special-purpose, and CNC machines to fabricate metallic parts.
• Observe machine operations for malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust as needed.
• Verify finished workpieces against specifications using precision instruments.
• Set up machines for trials to verify settings and data.
• Perform tool changes and document tool capability studies.
• Adhere to machine settings and programs during production per tool lists and cycle time sheets.
• Perform additional duties as assigned
