Job summary

MilliporeSigma is seeking a 6-month co-op in St. Louis to support mechanical CAD work. You will develop and update AutoCAD drawings, translate engineering concepts into CAD designs, and collaborate with engineers and vendors.

The 6-month program runs Jan 4, 2027 through June 25, 2027. Applicants must be actively enrolled in an academic program; no relocation stipend is provided. This paid internship offers exposure to industry-leading labs and teams.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an academic program to qualify.
• Experience using AutoCAD is required.
• Works well with limited supervision and in a team environment.
• Detail oriented and organized.

Responsibilities

• Develop and update detailed AutoCAD drawings and engineering documentation.
• Translate engineering concepts and specifications into accurate CAD designs.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and other stakeholders to resolve design requirements.
• Maintain drawing standards, version control, and organized CAD files.
• Review drawings for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with applicable standards.

• Rising Junior or Senior in a Bachelor’s Degree program or equivalent, studying a Mechanical Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Architectural Engineer
