Job summary

A municipal housing finance agency is seeking a Project Manager for Engineering & Architecture to oversee inspections and evaluations of housing projects. Qualifications

• 4-6 years relevant experience in engineering, architecture, or construction management.
• Knowledge of NYC building codes, multi-family residential construction, HVAC, plumbing, electrical and building conveyance systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive inspections of projects in HDC’s portfolio.
• Analyze and assess building conditions.
• Prepare written reports describing findings and recommendations.

Skills

Strong analytical skills for evaluating building conditions and compliance issues.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office productivity tools.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in architecture, engineering, or construction management.
