Job summary

Fluor Corporation in Colorado is seeking a construction engineering support professional to assist across engineering disciplines under supervision. You will perform technical and clerical tasks, ensuring compliance with Fluor policies and standards while planning and organizing assignments with a focus on safety and reliability.

The role requires active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph clearance, U.S. citizenship, and at least two years of related experience or an equivalent education.

Job Description

Must have an active (or ability to obtrain and maintain) TS/SCI with CI Polygraph Clearance

Summary: This position assists and supports others in a department, subdivision, function, or project. The position relies primarily on established policies, procedures, and applicable work practices to make decisions as they apply to the job duties and responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Under general supervision of a construction engineer or a survey party chief, but with latitude for exercising independent judgment, performs various assignments of a construction engineering support nature, both technical and clerical
  • Assist in several engineering disciplines, if required
  • Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards
  • Plan, organize, and carry out assignments as directed
  • Adhere to and support Fluor’s Health, Safety & Environmental and Sustainability Policies
  • Effectively develop and apply the Core Skills to the job
  • Meet expectations on attendance and punctuality
  • Other duties as assigned
Basic Job Requirements
  • A combination of education and directly related experience equal to two (2) years; some locations may have additional or different qualifications in order to comply with local requirements
  • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors
  • Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
  • Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
  • Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner

  • U.S. Citizen

The market rate for the role is typically at the mid-point of the salary range; however, variations in final salary are determined by additional factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, relevant years of experience, geographic location, internal pay equity, and prevailing market conditions for the specific role.
