Job summary

Henderson Engineers is seeking an Engineering Applications Lead to own the operational health and lifecycle management of the firm’s engineering application portfolio. You will lead support processes, coordinate with engineering and IT teams, and drive improvements in stability and usability across multiple platforms.

The role requires 7+ years in engineering/design applications, strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360 and related ecosystems, and proven experience with lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 7+ years of experience in engineering/design applications.
• Strong knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, BIM 360, ACC, Forma or similar ecosystems.
• Experience with application lifecycle management, upgrades, version control and release planning.
• Experience managing stakeholder priorities and cross-functional coordination.

Responsibilities

• Own the operational health and service delivery model for the engineering applications portfolio.
• Establish and maintain support processes, service expectations, escalation paths, and operating rhythms.
• Partner with Engineering, IT, and business stakeholders to define priorities and align services with operational needs.
• Monitor service performance and drive actions to improve stability and usability.
• Lead incident, problem, and change management for the engineering application portfolio.
• Oversee lifecycle management including version planning, patching, and retirement planning.
• Coordinate release calendars, testing readiness, deployment planning, and stakeholder communication.
• Lead and develop engineering application resources and establish team operating rhythms.
