Job summary
Greven Executive Search is partnering with a fast-growing food and beverage manufacturer in Tacoma to recruit an Engineering & Maintenance Manager who will lead maintenance and reliability initiatives across the plant.
The role oversees about 12 maintenance staff, a Maintenance Engineer, a Maintenance Planner, and a Process Engineer, with a mandate to implement better processes and systems and to coach the team to higher performance.
Qualifications
- BS degree or applicable experiences.
- 10+ years leading engineering and maintenance activities for a food or beverage plant.
- Experience leveraging CMMS programs to improve reliability of complex equipment.
- Coaching and mentoring of maintenance teams elevating their ability to improve OEE.
- Work with the VP of Operations to strategize on the future needs for the plant to continue to modernize operations.
Responsibilities
- Lead roughly 12 maintenance staff, 1 Maintenance Engineer, 1 Maintenance Planner, and 1 Process Engineer.
- Implement better processes and systems for Maintenance and Reliability.
- Coach and develop the maintenance team to raise performance and OEE.

The Engineering & Maintenance Manager has accountability for leadership of approximately 12 maintenance staff, 1 Maintenance Engineer, 1 Maintenance Planner, and 1 Process Engineer. We are looking for a leader who can implement better processes & systems for Maintenance and Reliability as well as coach and develop the team.
Ideal candidates will have the following:
- BS degree or applicable experiences
- 10+ years leading engineering and maintenance activities for a food or beverage manufacturing plant
- Experience leveraging CMMS programs to improve reliability of complex food manufacturing equipment
- Coaching and mentoring of maintenance teams elevating their ability to improve OEE
- Work with the VP of Operations to strategize on the future needs for the plant to continue to modernize operations
- Experience with Rockwell automation and controls systems is a plus
