Job summary

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 7+ years in engineering/manufacturing/OHS leadership.
  • Proven track record leading capital projects, Lean manufacturing initiatives, and continuous improvement.
  • Strong knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and environmental compliance.
  • Excellent project management, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

  • Lead CAPEX projects from planning to commissioning.
  • Develop scopes, timelines, budgets, ROI analyses, and project schedules.
  • Manage contractors, engineering firms, equipment vendors, and resources.
  • Coordinate equipment installations, startup activities, and facility improvements.
  • Lead process engineering initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot processes and equipment to identify long-term solutions.
  • Partner with Operations, Quality, Technical Services, and Maintenance on new product implementation and automation.
  • Develop and maintain engineering documentation including SOPs, work instructions, BOMs.
  • Build and maintain a multi-year capital improvement roadmap.

Job description

Engineering & Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will lead engineering initiatives, capital projects, continuous improvement efforts, and environmental, health, and safety programs across both manufacturing facilities.

This highly visible leadership role is responsible for driving operational excellence, improving manufacturing processes, leading capital investments, strengthening safety culture, and developing scalable systems that support long-term business growth.

While EHS oversight is an important component of this position, the primary focus is engineering leadership, operational improvement, and project execution rather than a traditional compliance-only EHS role. The ideal candidate is equally comfortable managing capital projects, optimizing manufacturing processes, leading continuous improvement initiatives, conducting safety audits, and partnering with executive leadership on strategic operational initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
