Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking an UAM Engineering Services Analyst to engage with clients by presenting data on project costs, timelines, progress, and resolving data discrepancies. This intermediate role operates in an office and remote setting as an individual contributor.

The position requires utility design engineering knowledge, strong communication, and proficiency with SPANS, NJUNS, GIS, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office. Travel about 5% is expected.

Qualifications

• Prior electric utility or telecommunications design engineering knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and data-tracking software such as SPANS, NJUNS, GIS.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to present information clearly.
• Ability to perform moderately complex arithmetic computations.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• Preferred: 3–5 years of experience as a Utility Designer or similar position with a strong background in customer service and managing high-volume data.

Responsibilities

• Lead client meetings, present data on costs and timelines, provide insights, and update clients on project progress.
• Prepare for client meetings with agendas and data.
• Investigate and resolve client issues; answer billing/timeline questions.
• Assist in vendor relationship management.
• Prepare, review, and process invoices and billing statements for engineering services.
• Develop cost estimates for engineering projects by gathering data and coordinating with leadership.
• Manage joint-use applications, client proposals, and data within client-specific software (Google Suite, SPANS, NJUNS, GIS).
• Manage project cost and timeline data across spreadsheets and platforms.
• Communicate effectively with team members and clients in written and verbal form.
• Travel (5%) for on-site job duty training, projects, or meetings.
