Job summary

The City of Portland Bureau of Environmental Services (BES) seeks an Engineering Analyst to support the Sewer, Stormwater & Restoration Division within the Engineering Services Group. The role involves developing division tools and processes, performing data analysis, and producing reports to inform capital improvement projects.

You will lead design and construction management process improvements, coordinate benchmarking data from multiple sources, forecast staffing and procurement needs, and

Qualifications

Experience leading the development and implementation of programmatic and project initiatives.
Experience developing division tools and processes and producing reports.
Ability to analyze data and trends to inform decisions.
Forecasting staffing, resources, and procurement requests.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate process improvements related to design management, construction management, and other engineering support needs.
Research, compile, and analyze data from a variety of sources to assist benchmarking and inform decisions.
Assist managers and supervisors in forecasting future staffing, resource requests, and contracts and procurement requests.
Serve as the division software subject matter expert – act as a division liaison and tracker for software issues and planning.
