Job summary

Astrion is seeking an Engineering Analyst II at Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. The role requires handling massive test data, ensuring data integrity, and performing statistical analyses to support military testing and evaluation.

The candidate should possess a engineering degree with related experience and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance; travel to expeditionary sites is expected. This is a full-time on-site position at Redstone Arsenal.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related discipline with 3 years of experience analyzing test results, ensuring data integrity and quality, performing statistical analysis, and presenting findings to team/management.
• Alternative: Associate’s Degree with 5 years of applicable experience; or 7 years of applicable experience or military equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance (U.S. citizen).
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Data Manager for the RTC Architecture for Hostile Threat Systems (RATH).
• Collect, label, and archive test data at petabyte scales, including uploads to cloud services for ASE customer review.
• Set up TACLANE configurations for classified networks.
• Work primarily at expeditionary test sites and assist with pre-test range setup, teardown, and test equipment movement.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited* college/university and 3 years of experience analyzing results of tests, assisting in ensuring data integrity and quality, providing statistical analysis and presenting findings to team members and management; or an Associate's Degree in Engineering or related discipline from an accredited* college/university and 5 years of applicable experience; or 7 years of applicable experience; or 7 years of applicable military experience performing engineering, analysis, and related functions in research, development, test and evaluation in support of military equipment and systems.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance. (Must be a U.S. Citizen.)
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Active Secret Security Clearance preferred.
• Experience performing engineering duties in Computer Networks, Fiber Networks and Cisco Switches.
• Prefer both mechanical and electrical experience in the testing of military weapon systems.
• Demonstrate experience with data management, data organization, data management concepts and development of procedures.
