Job summary

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Analyst II located at the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, AL. This role supports DoD programs with strong emphasis on project management, logistics, and analysis.

The position requires U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a Secret security clearance, and relevant degrees with experience across communication, logistics, operations, or program management. Some travel is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• US Citizenship required.
• Ability to obtain and maintain Secret government security clearance.
• Bachelor's degree with 3 years of related experience, or an Associate's with 5 years, or 7 years of equivalent experience; or 7 years of military training.

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple task orders or a single program with multiple staff.
• Manage all Project Management activities: work assignments, personnel, quality, customer satisfaction, and reporting.
• Manage resources, risk, contract reporting, and task order leads.
• Interface with Government customers, service vendors, and other agency representatives.
• Participate in projects from the planning stage, provide missing materials, and edit/format content for clarity and integrity.
• Assign, schedule, and review work.
• Develop and analyze monthly reports; manage schedule and budget and period of performance.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Must be a U.S. Citizen


• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance


• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a technical, science or business discipline from an accredited* college/university and 3 years of experience in one of the following areas, as related to the respective job required: Communication, Logistics, Operations, Finance, Personnel/Human Resource Management, Program Management, Process Improvement, Safety, Security, and Environmental specialties; or an Associate's Degree and 5 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area; or 7 years of experience performing the job duties in the assigned specialty area; or 7 years of military training in the assigned specialty area, or a combination thereof. Additional specialization requirements:


• Management Analyst – 2 years of the required experience must include experience analyzing financial and other data, gathering and analyzing information regarding systems and/or procedures to provide recommendations for improving efficiency, analyzing and reporting business activity and compiling statistical reports. Must have practical facility management skills (for construction, targetry, and maintenance).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• This position is responsible for coordinating and ensuring safety oversight during target fabrication, structural maintenance, and the preservation of facility integrity. Additionally, this


• Daily efforts for this role will entail supervising and collecting data for all targets fabricated at MSE.


• Financial tracking and operational coordination will be managed utilizing Microsoft Office applications and SharePoint databases.


• Demonstratedproficiencywith management of tactical and strategic communications, marketing, and development of work products.


• Project Management knowledge is a prerequisite for this role.

RESPONSIBILITIES
