Lockheed Martin in Huntsville, AL, seeks an entry‑level engineering support professional to assist engineers with data handling, analysis, and documentation. You will gather and format technical data, prepare reports and drawings, and perform calculations to support design changes and evaluations.

Qualifications

• 0-1 years of related technical or engineering support experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Standard Job Description

Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis.

Basic Qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret (or higher) security clearance. Must be a US Citizen
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 0-1 years of related technical or engineering support experience.
• Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of technical and interpersonal competency.

Desired Skills

• Hands-on experience setting up hardware and cabling based on technical drawings.
• Familiarity with basic hand and collaboration tools.
• Strong organizational skills.

Pay Information

Full-Time Salary Range: $41900.00 - $77700.00
