Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking an Engineering Aide Specialist to support engineering teams with data integrity and clear documentation. You will collect, format, and compile technical data, generate reports and schematics, and perform calculations to support design decisions.

You will work with engineers, technicians, and manufacturing staff to ensure accurate data and compliant procedures while utilizing tools like LabVIEW and TestStand.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with relevant technical coursework or practical experience.
• Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, integration, test, laboratory, or production activities.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, wiring diagrams, work instructions, specifications, and test procedures.
• Experience using standard hand tools, measurement devices, laboratory equipment, or electronic test equipment.
• Ability to assemble, configure, operate, and troubleshoot basic hardware, cables, test equipment, or mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to accurately collect, record, organize, and communicate test or production data.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Demonstrated mechanical or electrical aptitude and effective problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collect, maintain, format, and compile technical data, including lab results and design changes.
• Produce engineering documentation such as reports, flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
• Perform detailed mathematical calculations and preliminary data analyses.
• Apply quantitative judgment to evaluate technical data and support engineering decisions.
• Utilize computers and software to develop analyses, reports, and documentation.
• Conduct tests, record results, and assist with engineering evaluations and analyses as needed.
