Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Business Management or similar degree or equivalent applicable experience.
• 2+ years of experience in Engineering Support or other applicable roles in the organization.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and other appropriate engineering software.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Bring a customer-driven and quality focus to the entire team.
• Set performance goals and deadlines that align with company plans and communicate to the Engineering team.
• Own, manage and lead the successful completion of production schedules.
• Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties and tasks; ensure projects are resourced and progress is monitored.

• Receive complaints and resolve issues; grow teamwork, coordination, cooperation and communication.
• Act as liaison between upper management and departmental employees.
• Hire and train new employees; promote growth and development.
• Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions when needed.

Reports To

The Engineering Support Supervisor reports to the Engineering Manager.

Job Summary

The Engineering Support Supervisor will oversee the Engineering Support Department and work with staff across the facility to complete Engineering tasks. The role will be responsible for leading people, managing production, coaching teams, resolving issues, and serving as a link between department employees and upper management.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Bring a customer-driven and quality focus to the entire team.
• Set performance goals and deadlines that align with the plans and vision of Electrical Power Products, Inc.’s plans and vision and communicate this to the Engineering team. Meet daily and weekly production targets and goals.
• Own, manage and lead the successful completion of production schedules.
• Organize workflow and ensure employees understand their duties and tasks. Ensure projects are resourced and monitor progress through successful completion.
• Monitor employee productivity while providing constructive feedback.
• Receive complaints and resolve issues that may arise. Grow teamwork, coordination, cooperation and communication.
• Act as liaison between upper management and departmental employees.
