Jackson State Community College seeks an Adjunct Instructor in Engineering to deliver quality instruction using integrative technologies, teaching on-ground, evenings, off-campus, and distance courses as needed.

This pool-ready position requires a Master's degree in Engineering with 18 graduate credits and preference for collegiate teaching experience. Candidates should be adept with multiple delivery modes, strong communication, and MS Office proficiency; pay is $600 per credit hour.

Qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering or related field with at least 18 graduate credit hours in Engineering.
Collegiate level teaching experience preferred.
Ability to use multiple instructional delivery modes and communicate effectively; proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Teach on-ground courses as assigned; evenings, off-campus and distance courses as required.
Post grades during term and submit final grades by Registrar deadlines.
Complete required trainings and reports; advise Chair/Dean; attend requested meetings; comply with policies.
Check JSCC email and departmental mailbox; respond within 48 hours.
Submit or update class syllabus at least 2 weeks before first day of class or within 7 days of contracting.
