Job summary

Jackson State Community College is seeking an Adjunct Instructor in Engineering Technology to deliver quality instruction using integrative technologies. This role supports evening, off-campus, and distance-based courses as part of the adjunct pool.

The position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field and experience with multiple instructional delivery modes; familiarity with MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field from an accredited institution.
• Collegiate level teaching experience preferred.
• Knowledge of multiple instructional delivery modes; proficient with MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses on ground and as assigned, including evening, off-campus, and distance-based formats.
• Post grades and submit final grades by the registrar deadlines.
• Complete required college trainings and reports; advise Chair/Dean as needed.
• Respond to emails within 48 hours; maintain syllabi before class.
• Submit class syllabus or update department syllabus at least 2 weeks before class.
