Virginia Western Community College, located in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains of the Roanoke Valley, is accepting applications for part-time Engineering Adjunct Faculty in the School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Adjunct faculty positions are appointed on a course‑by‑course, semester basis as needed. Engineering adjunct faculty are needed to teach college‑level courses in‑person on the main Virginia Western campus, or a hybrid class where lectures are online and labs are in‑person on the main Virginia Western campus. Faculty are expected to maintain currency in their teaching disciplines and in trends in community college education, and to be active participants in departmental communication.
