Job summary

University of California, Davis is seeking a Staff: Career level Student Services Advisor 2 SV to provide comprehensive academic advising for the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. The role collaborates with program coordinators and faculty advisors to support undergraduate and graduate programs, ABET compliance, and curriculum planning.

The position reports to the CEE Student Services Manager and participates in professional development and outreach initiatives within COE

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in holistic advising and counseling undergraduate and graduate students in a university setting.
• Ability to identify appropriate advising or referral services and maintain student confidentiality.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• 45% - Advising and Counseling for undergraduate and graduate students.
• 30% - Academic Program Management and Curriculum Support.
• 15% - Admissions and Academic Services.
• 10% - Student Outreach, Recruitment, and Engagement.
