Job summary

Motive Workforce is seeking an experienced Estimator to turn RFQs into complete cost estimates for labor, materials, subcontractors, and equipment. You will review drawings, coordinate with Engineering, Purchasing, Manufacturing, and Project Management, and develop technical proposals that help win custom industrial equipment projects.

You'll work directly with customers to understand requirements, build Bills of Materials, and maintain long-term relationships while managing multiple estimates

Qualifications

• 5+ years of estimating experience within custom industrial equipment or manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience estimating tanks, process piping, skids, pressure vessels, structural steel, or custom process equipment.
• Experience developing Bills of Materials and labor estimates.
• Strong understanding of fabrication methods and manufacturing processes.
• Experience reviewing vendor and subcontractor quotations.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Strong organizational and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams.
