Job summary

Ampcus Inc is seeking an Engineer-Transport - IV to join their team in Overland Park, KS. Qualifications

• Research and update paths, segments, and equipment in CND.
• Update and migrate IP assignments in INAM.
• Support migration of numerous circuit paths and connections to a new transport system.
• Complete Backhaul designs in CND and work with vendors to support network growth.

Skills

Experience with backhaul design and management of fiber optic systems and equipment

Understanding of Telecommunication systems used for circuit inventory, IP assignments, and project management

Knowledge of ROAMs and optical transport networks

Education

Must have skills

• Experience with backhaul design and management of fiber optic systems and equipment.
• Understanding of Telecommunication systems used for circuit inventory, IP assignments, and project management.
• Knowledge of ROAMs and optical transport networks.

Desired skills

• Knowledge of Fujitsu optical transport equipment knowledge of Transport service delivery ordering, provisioning, and service provider process.

Education/certifications

• College Degree Preferred.
