Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree required for Civil/Architectural Engineering.
• Master’s degree with structural emphasis preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in Structural Engineering Design.
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design a variety of structural projects including hydraulic structures, retaining walls, and vehicular bridges.
• Manage production of construction drawings for own work.
• Review contractor submittals during construction.
• Coordinate with clients and in-house engineers.
• Assist in training less experienced staff.
• Provide CAD assistance when necessary.

Halff has an open position for a Structural Engineer, with a Texas PE License, to join our growing Structural team in our Richardson office. This position is for an individual with at least 4 years of experience in Structural / Bridge Engineering interested in working on a variety of structural engineering projects. What You Will Do

• Will design a variety of complete structural engineering projects such as hydraulic structures, retaining walls, and vehicular bridges.
• Will manage production of construction drawings for own work.

• Will coordinate effort with clients as well as in-house engineers.
• Will assist in training less experienced staff.
• Will provide CAD assistance when necessary.

What You Will Need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
• Master’s Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in Structural Engineering Design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas.
• MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus.
