Job summary

Halff Associates, Inc. in Richardson, TX seeks a Structural Engineer with a Texas PE License and at least 4 years of Structural/Bridge experience to join our growing Structural team. This role offers ownership potential and lasting career growth.

You will design structures, manage drawings, review submittals, coordinate with clients and staff, and contribute to training within a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET-equivalent.
• Master's degree preferred with structural emphasis or ABET-equivalent.
• 4+ years of experience in Structural Engineering Design.
• Texas Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
• MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design structural projects including hydraulic structures, retaining walls, and bridges.
• Manage production of construction drawings for own work.
• Review contractor submittals during construction.
• Coordinate with clients and in-house engineers.
• Assist in training less experienced staff.
• Provide CAD assistance when necessary.

Halff has an open position for a Structural Engineer, with a Texas PE License, to join our growing Structural team in our Richardson office. This position is for an individual with at least 4 years of experience in Structural / Bridge Engineering interested in working on a variety of structural engineering projects. What you will do:

• Will design a variety of complete structural engineering projects such as hydraulic structures, retaining walls, and vehicular bridges.
• Will manage production of construction drawings for own work.
• Will review contractor submittals during construction.
• Will coordinate effort with clients as well as in-house engineers.
• Will assist in training less experienced staff.
• Will provide CAD assistance when necessary.

What you will need:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
• Master's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in Structural Engineering Design.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas.
• MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus.
