Job summary

FIS is seeking a hands-on Senior Frontend Engineer to join the Frontend Platform. You will design and build shared UI components and frameworks used by multiple product teams, ensuring accessibility, theming across brands, and analytics baked in by default.

You will work directly with product teams, mentor peers, and help AI coding tools shape engineering workflow while delivering high-quality, scalable front-end software.

About the team

Frontend Platform builds the foundation teams across FIS use to create customer experiences on web and mobile: our design system, front‑end frameworks, delivery tooling, and the AI agent tooling built on top of them. We’re part of Platform Engineering, an organization going AI‑first, and we earn adoption by being the best way to build at FIS.

What you will be doing

You’ll be a hands‑on senior engineer on the platform other FIS engineers build on. You’ll design and build shared components and frameworks, help product teams adopt them, and use AI coding tools every day to move faster. You’ll set a high bar for quality and help the engineers around you reach it.

Build and evolve shared UI components, frameworks, and tooling used by product teams across FIS. Make accessibility, multi‑brand theming, and analytics built in, so every team gets them by default.

Work directly with product teams to help them adopt the platform and move off older technology. Build the rules, skills, and tooling that help AI coding agents produce consistent, on‑brand code.

Review code, mentor engineers, and raise the quality bar by example.

What you bring

• Deep experience building front‑end applications with modern frameworks such as React and TypeScript.
• Experience building component libraries, design systems, or shared frameworks that other engineers depend on.
• A strong grasp of accessibility, performance, and testing in production web applications.
• Hands‑on experience with AI coding tools and a point of view on how they change engineering work.
• Clear communication and the ability to work closely with designers, product teams, and other engineers.
• Bonus if you have Experience in banking, payments, or financial services.
• Experience with MUI or theming systems for multi‑brand products.
• Experience with design tokens or design‑to‑code workflows.
• Experience with React Native or cross‑platform UI.
