Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a quality-focused engineer to join the Van Horn, TX site, supporting aerospace manufacturing and development. You will establish and maintain quality systems, audit processes, and participate in design reviews to mitigate risks and improve manufacturability.

The role requires a B.S. in engineering, strong communication, and familiarity with AS9100, GD&T, and FMEA. Travel up to 10% may be required; relocation assistance is available.

This includes Manufacturing and Supply Chain support across all Blue Origin facilities.As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers, you will apply standard engineering techniques to evaluate product conformance through the execution, optimization, and validation of quality processes. This requires verifying product and process conformance, root cause and corrective action analysis, nonconformance disposition, hardware acceptance planning, and design verification. Establishes quality standards for products and processes and suggests modifications meant to prevent defects in components or final products. Works closely with cross-functional teams, including product design, product management, and production, to identify and mitigate quality risks. Audits production processes, raw materials, or suppliers/vendors to ensure that established quality standards are met. Conducts root cause analysis for defects, non-conformities, or other quality failures.
