Method360 is looking for a Quality Engineer to provide statistical insights for quality improvement and help maintain the quality management system.

Your responsibilities will include assisting in quality management operations, analyzing failures, and conducting audits. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred along with skills in Microsoft Office and ISO auditing.

Qualifications

• ISO Auditor certification required.
• Mid-level knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Understanding of computer functionalities and technical interactions of sub-assemblies.
• Strong English language skills, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of the Quality System.
• Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure compliance with requirements.
• Analyzing failure and corrective actions for quality improvements.
• Prepare and manage quality reports on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Conduct audits and manage supplier performance.

Job Description

A Quality Engineer provides statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and samples.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of the Quality System.
• Assist Quality Manager and Supervisor in establishing, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system.
• Interface with Engineering and Ops to ensure transfer to Production of new products is in accordance with approved data.
• Support the Quality Inspectors to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system.
• Analyze failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to internal/external customer complaints.
• Create and maintain company quality documentation, such as quality manuals, quality procedures, etc.
• Continuously improving QA receiving inspection process and procedures.
• Ensure timely resolution of supplier failure, corrective actions and preventive actions.
• Prepare QA weekly, monthly, quarterly reports.
• Foster continual improvement activities to enhance the quality system, such as 5S, Kaizen lean methods, etc.
• Develop training to build quality awareness.
• Conduct audits, including closing out audit findings and creating audit finding reports, and determining proper corrective and preventive actions.
• Plan, organize and manage the overall activities of receiving/outgoing quality functions.
• Manage suppliers performance and conduct audits.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience

• ISO Auditor
• Mid-Level Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Computer knowledge, functionality, technical interaction of sub-assemblies
• English as either primary or secondary language
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Working Conditions

Able to tolerate noise levels in warehouse environment. Office and outside environmental conditions found in warehouse, hot in summer, cold in winter. May need to walk for extensive period of time while working and walking facilities; able to reach over shoulder heights; bend or stoop below waist; repetitive wrist, hand, finger movement; occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
